Fondation Maison de la Porte Ouverte

Since 1971, the Maison de la Porte Ouverte Foundation has been supporting people in distress, offering protection, support and social, psychological, legal and educational assistance. Our aim is therefore to offer all these people ‘an open door’ and to listen to them, support them and help them by seeking the best possible response to an identified need, in consultation and collaboration with all those concerned.

Currently, the FMPO runs:

– Day and night shelters for children, teenagers, unaccompanied minors, young mothers, young couples, women in distress and victims of human trafficking;
– A day centre for teenagers;
– A family support service;
– Counselling centres for young mothers, parents and women in distress;
– A support service for victims of human trafficking;
– Two open-access housing services for young adults, women and families;
– A socio-therapeutic centre for children experiencing severe academic difficulties;

and also offers professional training on the topics of domestic violence, teenage pregnancy and human trafficking.

Its main field of action: Integration and social work
