Visit the professional inclusion workshops of APEMH

DESCRIPTION :

We invite you to take a behind-the-scenes look at a Professional Inclusion Workshop (AIP) through a visit to APEMH, a Luxembourg-based association dedicated to the inclusion of people with intellectual disabilities.

The mission of AIPs is to employ people with disabilities in a suitable and rewarding professional environment, while helping them develop their skills and experience. They produce high-quality goods and services, fully integrating diversity into their work organization, with the goal of serving as a stepping stone to the open job market.

This visit will be an opportunity to:

  • Understand how an AIP operates: available job roles, work organization, and employee support
  • Discover the products and services developed within the APEMH in fields such as gardening, textiles, food service, maintenance, and carpentry
  • Discuss with the team their experiences, career paths, and skills
  • Gain a better understanding of the challenges of professional inclusion for people with disabilities
  • Explore future collaborations between your company and an AIP

An opportunity to discover a different business model and make the connection between inclusion, diversity, and collective performance
