DESCRIPTION :
Companies have a responsibility to respect human rights, including throughout their value chain. Against a backdrop of evolving regulations, these issues are becoming central to organisations, going beyond mere compliance.
As part of a four-session series dedicated to human rights, IMS Luxembourg offers a structured program to help organizations move from understanding these issues to their practical implementation: identifying risks, structuring their approach, and implementing appropriate actions.
This opening session aims to lay the groundwork and establish a shared framework of understanding. Its objective is to demonstrate why human rights are now a strategic issue for companies, going beyond mere regulatory compliance.
On the agenda:
- Key regulatory challenges : CSRD, CSDDD, etc.,
- Stakeholder expectations : investors, customers, etc.,
- Operational and reputational risks associated with human rights violations,
- Opportunities associated with a proactive approach: value creation, resilience, credibility, and attractiveness.
