Following its launch at the Luxembourg Sustainability Forum 2025, the City of Luxembourg and IMS Luxembourg are opening registrations for the 2nd edition of the programme “Trees in the City, Business in Action”, running from October 2026 to January 2027.

Collective goal: 30,000 trees planted by 2030 

This initiative is fully aligned with the capital’s climate and environmental objectives: improving quality of life, restoring the city’s natural heritage and strengthening the region’s climate resilience. 

A dedicated session to understand how to get involved, ask your questions and join a collective local effort.

On the agenda:

• Greening the City: vision and collaboration with local organisations
• Targeting 30,000 trees by 2030: challenges and benefits in an urban environment
• How to get involved: conditions and the role of organisations
• Practical advice: choosing, supplying, planting and maintaining trees
• Q&A

For who? This event is aimed at all staff whose organisation is a member of IMS, established on the territory of the City of Luxembourg.
