“Trees in the City – Business in Action” is a pilot project launched in 2025 by IMS Luxembourg in collaboration with the City of Luxembourg. Officially presented at the Luxembourg Sustainability Forum on 25 November 2025, the project aims to strengthen the city’s tree heritage and promote active greening across the territory by engaging organisations based in Luxembourg City: companies, public entities, associations, schools…
The project’s objective is to test, on a small scale, the conditions for implementing future Local Green Deals, by bringing together private and public stakeholders around concrete urban greening actions.
Already, 8 IMS Luxembourg member organisations have committed to planting 157 trees on their grounds this winter. The goal is to anchor this dynamic over the long term and jointly prepare the next Local Green Deal projects.
Many thanks to: EIB, BIL, European Court of Auditors, Indosuez, Lycée Vauban, Maison Moderne, Ogier and POST for their participation and concrete commitment to climate action.
