Time For Equality

Time For Equality is a non-profit organisation based in Luxembourg. Its aim is to contribute to a better and fairer society, founded on a culture of respect for human rights and fundamental freedoms, equality and social justice. It seeks to make a difference at local, national and international levels through awareness-raising, training and advocacy. It prioritises networking and partnerships. Priority themes for 2017–18 include reducing inequalities, eliminating human trafficking and various forms of human exploitation, and issues related to migration. It believes in the power of the arts and storytelling to drive social change, with raising awareness being the first necessary step towards taking responsibility and taking action.

Its motto: “Learn Share Take Action”.
Among its recent initiatives: a series of film screenings and a debate in partnership with the United Nations; the “Expressions of Humanity – What kind of world do we want to live in” series at Les Rotondes; conferences, presentations and workshops for the general public as well as for schools and youth groups (e.g. Global Issues Network; Sustainable Development Education Weeks).
